Navid Azimi Sajadi è un artista iconoclasta che rompe con i simboli, le tradizioni e le idee preconcette della cultura iraniana. Rompere lo stampo di questi simboli fino a quando non vengono trasformati in una lingua occidentale è il motore del suo lavoro. L’abilità con cui realizza questa conversione trasforma le sue opere in un’efficace denuncia di una realtà ingiusta. La bellezza del suo lavoro è efficace per la rotondità del messaggio. È un’arte combattiva, dirompente; quasi un urlo grafico che risuona nelle nostre coscienze. Ha conseguito una laurea in pittura presso la Teheran Art and Architecture University nel 2005. Lo stesso anno si trasferisce a Roma. In Italia si è laureato presso l’Accademia di Belli Arti di Roma, nel 2009. Ha conseguito il premio Fondazione Amedeo Modigliani nel 2009. Ha conseguito il Master in Belle Arti nella scultura multimediale nel 2013 presso l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, e nello stesso anno è stato invitato alla IX Biennale di Shanghai. Nel 2018 è stato vincitore del Premio Combat Museo G. Fattori nell’ambito del disegno e della grafica.

Navid Azimi Sajadi is an iconoclast who breaks with the symbols, traditions and preconceived views of Iranian culture. Breaking the mold of these symbols until they are transformed into a Western language is the engine of his work. The skill with which he achieves this transformation turns his works into an effective complaint of an unjust reality. The beauty of his work is effective for the rotundity of the message. It is a combative, disruptive art; almost a graphic scream that resonates in our consciences. He gained a bachelor of art in painting from Teheran Art and Architecture University in 2005. The same year he moved to Rome. In Italy he has graduated from Accademia di Belli Arti di Roma, in 2009. He was awarded the Amedeo Modigliani Foundation prize in year 2009. He gained his Master of Fine Art in Multi Media Sculpture in year 2013 from Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma, and in the same year he has been invited to the 9th Shanghai Biennale. In 2018 he was the winner of Premio Combat Museo G. Fattori in the drawing and graphic field.
